Canterbury Archers Membership

We welcome all Archery GB registered archers shooting either Recurve, Longbow and Compound disciplines.

You must have completed a recognised beginners course before you can join the club. We run beginners courses twice a year, if you are interested in taking up archery please see the Beginner's Course page. Before becoming a member you must be a member of Archery GB. This can be arranged through the club.

Associate Members are also welcome but they will be admitted at the discretion of the Committee.

An Associate Member is an archer who is a member of another club which is deemed to be their 'Home Club'. Archery GB fees are paid to this club.

Club and AGB Fees

Membership fees are collected in two parts. The Annual Subscription to the club is due by the 1st April. Family membership is subject to a 10% discount.

The second part is the affiliation fee payable to Archery GB. Linked with this is a fee payable to the County and a fee payable to the Region (SCAS). For existing members, these fees are due by the 1st of September. For new members, the fee is on a pro rata basis. Please download the club fees PDF by clicking the button below.

The date that the fee is applicable is the date of a new member joining the club.

Shooting Fees

Shooting fees are paid each time you shoot at the club. On club days where food is provided such as BBQ's or Soup Days the shooting fees will be £2 for Seniors and £1.50 for Juniors. Visitors to the club are charged at twice the relevant shooting fee below for a maximum of three visits in one calendar year.
