Update to members

Dear All, We are pleased to advise that we can return to shooting this weekend – 6th/7th November. However, the school has been clear that our health and safety is a priority for it and therefore we are currently only allowed to park in the small, ‘visitors’ car park (on the left before the big green gates) at the moment. Also, please take extra care as you walk to the compound/around the site because works remain in progress and there is still construction equipment in this area. As we return, a club member who is a healthcare professional has advised that ‘whilst most are Covid double jabbed, we need to remember that even those who are double jabbed are still catching this awful infection. That’s not to mention flu, winter vomiting bug and all the other nasties out there waiting for us’. With that in mind, members must continue to maintain space and use the hand sanitiser and wipes provided. Anyone feeling unwell should not attend the club. As numbers shooting are now greater, please sign in, set up your bow and wait for instructions about requirements before setting up any targets. Being mindful of the previous paragraph, anyone wishing to shoot alone or in a household group can still indicate this in the book when signing in (and by placing a red flag, available at the club, in their shooting space). The new dates for our ‘try before you buy’ session and Family Fun Shoot will be confirmed soon. Kind regards, The Committee
