Update on the club closure

Apologies to all members for the shooting disruption caused by health and safety issues at Archbishop’s. We hope to get it sorted as soon as possible and will keep you updated through the newsletter, website and by email.

The committee inspected the field last weekend and, although it has started to dry up around the shooting area, it is still quite muddy around the containers. We know that the school have plans for the area and we are waiting to hear back from them on what they are doing and a timescale for this.

In the meantime, we are looking into purchasing some more plastic mats to make the area safe again so that shooting can resume.

Thanet Archery Club has kindly invited us to shoot on Saturdays at St Lawrence College in Ramsgate while we are not able to use our ground. Please arrive at 9:30 for a 10am start. Cost is £2 for guests and £1 for associate members.
