The committee has considered the latest changes to restrictions (17th May) and how to best manage these for our club based on our facilities and setup. All current government and AGB guidance must still be followed but our club specific procedures in line with these are:
a. The central container will still be kept locked.
This is because the time, money and responsibility of controlling the risk means that it is still not reasonable or practical to open it at this time. Please continue to bring your own refreshments, chairs and scoresheets/apps.
b. Archers must still maintain social distancing during breaks unless they are from the same household/bubble.
c. Club members only (with the exception of an adult with a junior archer) may now visit the club without shooting but must record their visit on the sign in sheet, which is on the table in the boss container, and use the hand sanitiser on arrival. Social distancing (2 metres) must be observed at all times with visitors remaining 2 metres back from the archers’ waiting line/area.
d. A maximum of 2 archers or 1 household/bubble per target boss – maintaining 2m social distancing at all times
e. In accordance with our usual practice during the summer, indoor shooting is not taking place.
Please also find a brief outline of some upcoming events at the club here. The Little Stanley Cup, which was provisionally in the diary for 23rd May, has been postponed until 11th July.
Our continued good wishes to you and your families.
