Platinum Jubilee Shoot

As part of the celebrations for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we are holding a special Platinum Jubilee Shoot on Saturday 4th June (arrive by 9.15 for 10.00 start). Using the ‘70’ theme, we will shoot 30 arrows at 40 yards and 40 arrows at 30 yards to make this a fun event for experienced and newer archers shooting together. Your family are welcome to come and cheer you on, or join us later when shooting will be followed by a ‘Bring and Share’ lunch. Drinks will be provided, so all we ask is that you please bring some ‘party/picnic’ food suitable for sharing. This could be sandwiches, scones & jam, strawberries & cream, biscuits, cake, crisps, vegetable slices and dips, sausage rolls… etc! To avoid too much duplication, a ‘Food sheet’, where you can see what others are bringing and indicate what you will be contributing, is available on the signing in table. However, if you are not able to be at the club before the day, please just bring along what you can. It would be wonderful to see as many of our members and families as possible, so please come along and celebrate together!
