Dear Club Member,
I hope this email finds you and your loved ones safe and well. Hopefully many of you will have started having your vaccinations and are beginning to feel more positive about the times ahead. The lighter evenings and some sunny days are very welcome too. Please find attached the details about Club Membership renewals for 2021/22. I understand that some of you may be hesitant about returning yet so I’m pleased to advise that the committee has agreed that fees be reduced again for the coming year to compensate for loss of shooting. All the information about costs and how to pay are provided in the letter. Like everyone else, we are keeping a close eye on the situation but if the current ‘roadmap’ for easing restrictions continues to go to plan, the hope is to re-open at the beginning of April (We are not able to shoot on Good Friday or Easter Sunday because of our agreement with Archbishop’s – a church school) under the ‘rule of six’ and following all Archery GB guidance. The committee has a virtual meeting booked soon to ensure everything is prepared and ready. In addition, arrangements are now going ahead for our first beginners’ course and the annual Longbow shoot which we host. I will email more information once we have a confirmed re-opening date and have received the detailed guidance from AGB. Please also keep checking the club website for updates and information. Continued best wishes to you and your families. Kind regards,
Karen
