Important notice for members

Dear Members, Unfortunately we have to inform you that on Tuesday afternoon (5th October) the school advised us that the entire school site is being required to close from 16 October until 31 October due major construction and repairs being carried out both internally and externally. This will completely prevent access. The whole carpark will have lorries, heavy machinery and workmen on site, making it unsafe for any other users, so there will not be any shooting for several weeks after this coming weekend. We are pleased to say that the Fred Noone 90 memorial shoot this Sunday (10th) will go ahead as planned. The school has apologised for the situation and hopes that after this two week (half term) October break the works should no longer impact us but we will have to await confirmation of this before we can announce when the club may resume outdoor shooting. Therefore, sadly, the ‘Ask before you buy’ session for our newer members on 16th October and the Halloween fun shoot on 31st October are postponed until we can return to the site. New dates will be advised as soon as possible. The committee had been preparing for indoor shooting to resume later this month but this will now also have to wait until the school is able to let us know the situation regarding the indoor repairs and refurbishment. We will endeavour to let you know more as soon as the school updates us so please keep an eye on your inbox and the club website. Best wishes to you all. Kind regards, The Committee
