Dear Members,
We hope you have continued to stay safe and well and are feeling more able to venture out again.
Following the lifting of restrictions on 19th July, and the issuing of new guidance from AGB and the Government, the committee has met and discussed what this means for the club. We have sought to return to our pre-covid arrangements where possible but some measures are still required to help keep us all safe and well… and the club open. Therefore, please read the update on the club’s shooting arrangements below. As before, measures will be reviewed regularly and if you have any questions or ideas/feedback to help with this please contact us via the secretary: canterburyarchers@googlemail.com
The online booking calendar is being adjusted though there is no absolute requirement for archers to use it now. However, when requests to shoot are submitted this does alert key holders that there are people wishing to shoot and someone can try to be available – especially useful for afternoons and evenings and weekdays in the holidays. There may be the occasional anomaly for the next couple of weeks due to bookings already in the system vs adjustments but this will settle down shortly!
A gentle nudge to some - There is still money owing for sessions shot during the past three months. Please pay any outstanding fees either by leaving an envelope with the cash in the pot or by BACS. Our treasurer can give you an idea of what you owe if you are unsure of the amount.
We look forward to seeing you back at the club soon.
Kind regards,
Karen, and the committee
