Back2Back and Indoor Nationals

Report from Sam of lasts weekends activities.

This weekend some of our tournament archers were in Coventry for the back2back and indoor nationals.

Saturday saw Ajay come joint first in the under 16 boys compound in the Junior Nationals. Sophie, Jason and Bayley all made it through the first round of the back2back but were knocked out in the second round.

Sunday Jason ranked 16th (118 entries) in the compound men, Bayley 10th (64 entries) in the Compound woman and Sophie 25th (84 entries) in the recurve woman, putting them all through into the 1/16th matches. Jason was knocked out in his first match with a one arrow shoot off. Bayley won her first match and then was knocked out in the 1/8th match, again it came down to a one arrow shoot off and Sophie made it through her first two matches through to the quarter finals.

Well done everyone.
