Grand Opening and Club Champs


What an amazing day. The Lord Mayor has now declared our new archery ground officially open and our Club President, John Trinder has shot the first arrow.

Well done to everyone who took part and those who helped to run the day. Who would have thought that we would have come so far and be able to host such a brilliant shoot after only being at the new ground for 3 weeks.

Rosemary once again amazed everyone with on of her outstanding cake and Steve and Threasa did a marvelous job of manning the BBQ.

Thank you to Nick from In-Range Archery for sponsoring the event and providing us with the target faces.

Bayley did a great job of organising the club champs but unfortunately could not be present on the day but delegated to Sam and Jason who worked hard to ensure the day ran smoothly. Thank you to Rita who did a great job of coordinating the Grand Opening and also to our judges Steve and Sam.

Congratulations to all of the winners who did especially well due to the windy conditions. Photos will be available in the gallery shortly.

KMTV will be doing a report on the event which will be on Freeview channel 7. More details on that will be coming later.
