Cookie Recipe

Archer's love nothing more than a good biscuit and a cup of tea after a long hard day of shooting.

Here is our recipe for Shortbread Cookies!

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cooking Time: 15 mins

Makes 16 cookies


  • 160g butter

  • 180g plain flour

  • 60g sugar


  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celcius or 160 for a fan oven.

  2. Mix the butter and sugar in a large bowl until it is light and fluffy.

  3. Slowly add the flour as you mix until the mixture turns to a crumbly dough.

  4. Add flour to the worktop and roll out the dough to 1cm thick.

  5. Use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes for your cookies and place it into a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

  6. Put it in the oven for 15 mins until lightly golden.

  7. Allow to cool down before eating.

Of course, you could always double the ingredients and make twice as many!
